Chapter 15 - A New Dawn of Blood and Steel

The heavy iron gates of the Marchesi North Docks swung open automatically as the armored SUV approached, sliding smoothly along their greased tracks. Beyond the gates stretched the vast expanse of the container yards, cranes standing like silent steel giants against the pale morning sky, cargo ships resting heavily against the deep-water piers.
The vehicle came to a smooth halt right beside the main administrative warehouse. Dante stepped out into the crisp morning air, the familiar scent of salt water, diesel, and raw iron filling his lungs. It was home.
Dozens of loyal dock foremen, security captains, and syndicate enforcers stood waiting in a semi-circle around the pier, their faces grim, respectful, and entirely unwavering. When they saw Dante step out of the vehicle—battered, bandaged, but standing tall—a collective wave of visible relief washed over the crowd.
Bruno leaped out behind him, letting out a deep, authoritative bark that echoed across the open water, signaling to every man present that the master had returned.
Dante walked slowly toward the edge of the concrete pier, looking out over the vast expanse of the harbor where his ships sailed toward the horizon. The betrayal was over. The traitors were behind bars or running for their lives. The blood had been spilled, the rot excised, and the throne secured once more.
“Welcome back, boss,” the lead dock captain said, stepping forward and offering a respectful nod.

Dante didn't smile, but his dark eyes gleamed with an unyielding fire. He raised his hand, gesturing toward the shipping containers stretching as far as the eye could see.
“Let’s get to work,” Dante said."
