Chapter 15 - The Unbroken Vow

Three months later, the small wooden chapel overlooking the ocean was filled with the warm fragrance of white lilies and sea salt. There were no high-society paparazzi, no corporate moguls, and no fake aristocratic smiles. Only a few trusted friends and the minister stood inside the sunlit sanctuary.
Emma walked down the aisle in a simple, elegant ivory silk gown. Her hair fell in soft, loose waves around her shoulders, completely free from the rigid bun she had been forced to wear in the shadows of the past. Her gaze never left Julian, who stood at the altar in a sharp navy suit, his eyes shining with open reverence.
Standing beside Julian as his best man was Leo, wearing a tailored miniature tuxedo, proudly carrying the rings on a satin pillow with the utmost seriousness.
When Emma reached the altar, Julian took her hands in his. Her skin was warm, vibrant, and alive.
""Emma,"" Julian spoke, his voice steady yet filled with profound emotion, echoing softly against the wooden beams. ""I spent four years living in a nightmare because I thought my world had ended in fire. But you fought through hell, through silence, and through shadows to bring our family back together. You gave me back our son, and you gave me back my soul. I vow to protect you, to honor you, and to love you until my final breath.""
Emma squeezed his hands, her smile radiant. ""Julian, they tried to bury my name and erase my existence, but love is stronger than any lie they could ever invent. You never stopped carrying me in your heart, and you gave our son your courage. I vow to stand beside you, through every storm, knowing that wherever you and Leo are, that is my only home.""
The minister smiled gently. ""By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride.""

Julian wrapped his arms around Emma, lifting her slightly off her feet as he brought his lips to hers. A cheer went up from the small congregation, punctuated by Leo clapping enthusiastically with the puppy barking playfully outside the open chapel doors.
As they walked out into the golden sunset together, hand in hand with their son between them, the past was finally laid to rest. The shadows had burned away, leaving behind an unbroken family standing strong in the light."
