Chapter 11 - The ConfessionClara reached out, touching the silver ribbon on the box, overwhelmed by the gesture. "Why did you do it, Frank? Why spend three years cleaning floors when you own the entire foundation? You could have lived anywhere in the world, far away from corporate greed."

Frank pulled a chair closer and sat down. His eyes held the deep, reflective sorrow of an old wound that had never completely closed.

"Twenty-five years ago," Frank said softly, "my daughter, Sarah, worked for an investment banking firm in Chicago. She was brilliant, passionate, and driven just like you. But she worked under a management culture that demanded absolute submission. When she discovered severe balance-sheet fraud, her superiors bullied her, harassed her, and threatened to ruin her life if she spoke out."

He paused, looking down at his weathered hands.

"Sarah believed she was alone. The pressure broke her spirit. One night, after being publicly humiliated and fired while carrying immense stress, she suffered a severe health collapse. We lost both her and the grandchild she was carrying."

Clara gasped, covering her mouth as tears rolled down her cheeks.

"I couldn't save my daughter," Frank whispered, his voice cracking with old grief. "I was too busy building wealth and closing deals halfway across the globe to see her pain. When I finally inherited the primary holdings, I vowed that no young mother, no honest worker, would ever be destroyed under my watch again. When I saw Arthur kick your bag today... I didn't just see an abusive boss. I saw the darkness that took my Sarah. And I swore to finish it."
