Chapter 9 - The New FoundationWithin twenty minutes, the entire remaining staff of Vanguard Holdings was seated in the grand boardroom—a room Arthur had previously reserved only for high-net-worth investors and senior partners.

Frank sat at the head of the mahogany table, still wearing his grey maintenance jumpsuit. The stark contrast between his humble clothes and the multimillion-dollar room was a visible reminder of where true values lay.
"For three years, I have walked this building," Frank began. "I know who stays late to finish someone else's neglected work. I know who offers encouragement in the breakroom when deadlines become impossible. I also know how toxic leadership rots a company from the inside out."

"You won't be alone," Frank smiled. "Clara Hayes has already agreed, pending her recovery, to return as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Operations. Together, you will rebuild this company into a place that measures success not merely by what we take from the market, but by how well we protect our people."
The room erupted into applause—genuine, joyful, and free from the suffocating dread that had governed their workplace for half a decade.
