He projected supreme confidence, whispering to reporters that this was merely a vindictive ex-wife’s smear campaign.

Inside Courtroom 4B, the atmosphere was suffocating.
Evelyn took the stand first. Her testimony was precise, void of theatrical melodrama. She detailed dates, transaction IDs, and encrypted communications. When the defense attorney attempted to portray her as a scorned spouse seeking retribution, she calmly presented bank statements signed under Grant’s personal seal.

Grant surged out of his chair, knocking over his water glass. "You traitor!" he snarled, before his attorney forced him back down. The judge’s gavel cracked like thunder through the chamber. The illusion of invulnerability was shattered.
