Returning to Havenbrook with their freedom legally solidified, Julian made one final decision regarding his inheritance. Using the undisputed evidence of corporate embezzlement uncovered during the trial, Julian’s legal team forced a restructuring of the Bennett Family Foundation.
Julian did not claim the funds for himself. Instead, he oversaw the transfer of the entire family foundation into an independent public trust dedicated to pediatric medical research and safe shelters for mothers fleeing domestic abuse.
The sprawling Bennett estate on Long Island was sold, with every dollar redirected to the public charity. The name "Bennett" was removed from the institutional headquarters in Manhattan, replaced by a simple title: The Harbor Institute for Children.

"Are you sure you don't want to keep any of it?" Eleanor asked as Julian signed the final divestment documents at their kitchen table.
"I kept what was valuable," Julian replied, looking over at Lily, who was busy stacking wooden blocks on the rug. "The rest was just a monument to loneliness."
