Chapter 14 - The New Legacy

Spring returned, bringing with it fresh blooms and a renewed sense of hope. Eleanor made a major decision regarding the Vance estate: she donated a large portion of the vast, unused grounds to a local charity that built community gardens and children’s therapy centers.
The grand dining room, once the site of rigid formality and painful judgment, was transformed into a bright, open space where family and community workshops were held regularly.
Mark’s business flourished under its new, community-focused direction, proving that success built on integrity was far more durable than success built on pressure.
One Sunday afternoon, the family gathered in the newly planted garden at the estate. Mark was chasing a toddling Leo through the grass, their shared laughter echoing through the open air. Eleanor and Amy sat together on a wooden bench under the shade of an old oak tree, watching them.
