Chapter 1 - The Breaking Point

The air inside the luxury private jet was thick with the scent of aged mahogany, expensive leather, and amber whiskey. At the center of it all sat Hamilton, his dark curly hair catching the dim cabin lights, his bodyguards Marcus and Viktor standing watchfully like statues of granite. Elena, his most trusted operative and closest confidante, had pushed herself past the absolute limit. Walking down the aisle, her legs finally gave out. She collapsed gracefully against Hamilton, her head resting heavily on his shoulder as exhaustion claimed her consciousness.

Hamilton didn’t flinch. His expression remained a mask of carved granite, though his dark eyes softened for a fraction of a second as he looked down at her sleeping form. When Marcus and Viktor stepped forward in alarm, Hamilton raised two fingers with effortless authority. His voice was a low, dangerous rumble that cut through the engine's roar. “No one wakes her. Keep quiet.”

The bodyguards froze, exchanging tense glances in the background while Hamilton stared straight ahead with unyielding power. But as the jet cut through the turbulent night clouds, a red blinking light on the cockpit console flashed silently, signaling an incoming encrypted transmission that would change everything.
